Usher and His Special Guest Performers in Super Bowl 58

Usher headlined the Super Bowl 58 halftime show, delivering a high-energy performance spanning his career. He wasn’t alone, though, as he was joined by a star-studded lineup of special guests, creating a memorable and exciting spectacle.

Alicia Keys kicked things off, performing “If I Ain’t Got You” before Usher joined her for their duet “My Boo.” R&B sensation H.E.R. also took the stage, and together they performed a medley of their hits.

The energy shifted gears with the arrival of will.i.am, Ludacris, and Lil Jon. They joined Usher for a nostalgic performance of their 2004 hit “Yeah!”, bringing the crowd to their feet. Finally, Jermaine Dupri, a record producer who has worked extensively with Usher, made a surprise appearance to hype up the crowd before a medley of “Confessions” and “Burn.” So many bettors lost their bets as Taylor did not made a surprise appearance on the stage to perform with Usher and his guests.

Usher’s performance was a celebration of his musical journey, and the special guests added their own unique flavor to the show. It was a night filled with nostalgia, powerful vocals, and energetic choreography, making it a memorable addition to the Super Bowl 58 experience.

We can’t wait to find out the headliner name/s for the Super Bowl 59!

4 Worst Halftime Shows In the Super Bowl History

Now that we know a lot of cool stuff will be happening on Feb 12,2023, it is good to review some of the worst halftime shows ever! Because aside from who was the champion, crazy touchdowns, and head-to-heads, people remember halftime show and entertainment more.

1. Super Bowl XXIII halftime show: The WORST show ever!!

Super Bowl XXIII halftime show: The WORST show ever!!

On Jan 22, 1989, the halftime of the Super Bowl was changed forever. Because Dan Witkowski, a Milwaukee-based producer, created a show with 2,000 dancers, which was broadcast for the first time on 3-D television. The show’s theme was BeBop Bamboozled in 3-D and was supposed to be an Elvis Presley impersonator. But things didn’t go as planned!

The main actor quit his job three days before the event, and Alex Cole replaced him. He acted as a magician doing the strangest magic tricks to the audience. People were not engaged at all and the whole thing turned into a disaster!

2. Super Bowl XXXV halftime show

On Jan 28, 2001, pop, rock, and rap came together to make the most hilarious halftime show in history! Aerosmith, Britney Spears, NSync, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige came together to perform “Walk This Way” to end the absurd show!

3. Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show

Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show

On February 1, 2004, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, P. Diddy, Nelly, Kid Rock, and Jessica Simpson headlined the show. But Janet and Justin’s performance singing “Rock Your Body” made the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show forever one of the worst.

During their performance, Justin Timberlake accidentally ripped Janet Jackson‘s bra off. Both singers received many backlashes for their duo performance.

4. Super Bowl LIII halftime show

Super Bowl LIII halftime show

Now I can’t decide which is the worst of the worst; halftime XXIII or LIII?!!

On Sun, Feb 3, 2019, the American pop group, Maroon 5, deadlined the halftime show of the game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. That year, Rihanna and Cardi B turned down the performance opportunity in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and more than 100k Maroon 5 fans who signed a petition begging them not to perform.

Adam Levine took his shirt off too many times during the performance. Then, Travis Scott popped up on stage to the Spongebob Squarepants intro song. People were not happy as Levine’s dance moves were uncomfortable, making the performance quite weird!
